Poas Volcano

Poas Volcano area is one of the most beautiful areas in Costa Rica; it is a very fertile volcanic land blessed by the tropical rain forest and cloud forest. This is an active volcano with one of the largest craters in the world it has 1320 meters large and 300 meters deep. This is a very scenic area surrounded by dairy farms, strawberry plantations, and of course, one of our most emblematic crops, which is coffee arabica. This could be considered a culinary costarican, and you will figure out why.

Las Paz Waterfall Garden:
This is well known as the most beautiful and largest wildlife sanctuary in the Central Valley of Costa Rica. Also, it has five wonderful waterfalls immersed in a deep tropical rainforest mountain. This place has amazing scenarios for pictures. You will be able to see toucans, tanagers, macaws, sloths, butterflies, reptiles, amphibians, and beautiful wild cats.

Activities there at La Paz Waterfall Garden:
– Guided tour through the different terrariums (Birds, Butterfly garden, reptiles, amphibians, and felines.
– Access to the five different waterfalls in the park; this section of the tour has the difficulty of moderate to high with step trails, even though there are some short cuts to skip some of the longer steps sections.
