This is the top favorite tour on the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica to observe the two species of sloths in the country in their natural habitat.

Manuel Antonio could be considered a capuchin monkey kingdom; they are all around the place monitoring tourists and their backpacks (they are a little mafia, and you will see why). But this national park offers a lot more to see in wildlife as howler monkeys, squirrel monkey which is an endemic specie, but also iguanas, crabs, snakes, and birds like toucans, trogons, warblers could be able to see depends on the season of the year.

Manuel Antonio also offers to the visitors a beautiful secondary forest with some impressive giant trees remnants of the primary forest. Therefore, you will be able to see the dynamic of the estuary and the lush green mangrove forest and how important this ecosystem is for sea life and humans. In fact, Manuel Antonio is a paradise of biodiversity.

The tour includes:

-Transportation (door to door): Pick up at the hotel, tour journey, and drop off at the hotel.

– Stop at Jaco at viewpoint: We will be able to take pictures in this iconic place of the pristine ocean, Jaco Beach, and the huge Jaco.

– Short visit to Parrita Town (Living and culture): explanation of the different economic activities you will see in this town and understand how important this community is for the economy of Costa Rica.

-Overview of Quepos town: explain the most important economic activities they develop there and their importance for Costa Rica.

-Arrival at Manuel Manuel Antonio area: We stopped by Villa Bosque Hotel; it is a very cozy Costa Rican family hotel located very close to the Manuel Antonio National Park entrance; we prepared ourselves over there before the soft hike in the Park. It is a good place to use facilities like bathrooms and change clothing or try it on a swimsuit. You can do this also in the Park but the facilities there are not always clean or available, so we recommend using the ones Villa Bosque provides us. This is the same place where we will have a delicious lunch. They will share a daily menu with delicious Costa Rican-style dishes, including a veggie option.
