Arenal Volcano

This is one of the most perfect volcanic cones of the world with 1670 meters over sea level and 33 square kilometers of area. This volcano has shown a very constant volcanic activity since last eruption of 1968, after this, mostly during the decade of 90s has shown amazing lavas flows and pyroplastic fireworks on nights this one decrease in 2010 but still not considered as a dormant volcano. This fact has promoted this area as one of the most attractive for scientifics and ecotourism hypnotized by the beautiful green scenarios of the tropical rain forest and their famous natural hot springs.
